Archiving Textual Corpora

Findings from a DARIAH Workshop

The article presents how a textual corpus can be deposited in a data repository for digital archiving purposes. It discusses which metadata standards and file formats should be used. It suggests adopting two metadata standards (DCMI and CMDI), describes
how they can be combined with different types of data repositories, and shows how data archiving applies to text corpora. Finally, a workflow for archiving text corpora is proposed.
